Great to go visit. It used to be an old dump in the 60s and all that washed up is pretty broken glass. It's strangly beautiful to look at and you can't stop scooping it up and looking through it. As far as beaches go, its Northern California so its usually cold out there. Dress warm and go for an adventurous walk on the glass. You will see other reminants of the dump too. Strange things are imbedded in the rocks, but the glass is hard to take your eyes off.
