I definitely enjoyed exploring the talus caves. Come equipped with a headlamp...more fun than a flashlight. The hike to the talus caves is short and easy. The caves are cool so be prepared with a light jacket. My friends and I didn't get to see any bats, but we still had fun exploring the caves. Beyond the caves, you can do a short hike to the very picturesque Bear Gulch Reservoir. Although a nice spot for a picnic, there's not a lot of shade in this area. Afterwards, you have your choice of hiking trails to trek. Or you can keep it light and head back. I'd love to go back and try camping and rock climbing here. They also offer a night tour of the caves which I'd love to check out.
