The Strand is a nice way to see the laid back L.A. lifestyle while getting some exercise. I especially enjoy the stretch from the Hermosa Pier to the Manhattan Pier. Drawbacks include: very busy during the summer months, not the best parking situation (meters and lack of parking in certain areas)
