This is one of the most beautiful part of the state. 17 miles of scenic driving that starts just outside Monterey next to the waters, white sand beaches with picnic areas, rocks, tidepools, sea creatures such as otters, monterey pines, forests with the most beautiful mansions, Inn at Spanish Bay, world famous Pebble Beach, most photographed Lone Cypress, town of Carmel with lots of shops and great restaurants, once a year Concourse auto event. Always carry lots of films or sd cards for camera. Kodak moment everywhere you look.

Well, I think $10 to drive down these street is a little absurd. However, if you just want a nice curvy ride with some less than impressive houses, well, go for it. The lonely cyprus is pretty, Asilomar and Spanish Bay is nice as well. If you like to Surf, than Carmel Beach is decent too. Realistically, I'd suggest point lobos over 17 mile drive. It's half the price, and there' a little more to see.

Very beautiful trip to take...by car! My other half made the mistake of cycling it, he managed by my was he exhausted afterwards! There is lots of wildlife on the way, squirrels that will come right up to you in the hope you will feed them...sea lions really close to the shore. A real treat!

We stayed there for a night on our trip with Trek America. My first time being at the Pacific Coast and it was great. We had a great sunset. The beaches are sandy and beautiful. You should definitly stay here at least for a picknick.

une route pittoresque qui traverse une reserve naturelle ou sont parquées des villas de milliardaires au milieu d'un decor de falaises de pins balayés par les vents, ajoutez un soupçon de brume....
