Del Dotto is a small family owned winery that has been producing small production premium wines for about 10 years. The family's involvement with wine dates back even farther, as it owns extensive hand dug caves from 1885. Visits and tastings are by reservation only.

Saw multiple reviews of this winery at Trip Advisor, was most fun place we visited out of 20+ wineries in Napa/Sonoma region. The tour guide was very knowledge, was willling to take contrarian viewpoints on wine topics and defend his ideas. Look to schedule late afternoon visit, and be prepared for a number of generous pours. Del Dotto has another location that has since opened, more of a castle vibe. I'm looking forward to visiting here on my next visit. They
