If you are an old lady who likes to hike, you should live near here. Christmas By The Cove and the Segway Rental place are pretty hilarious if you want a laugh.

At certain times of the year (like in Animal Crossing) there's this new Farmer's Market. You can have a real Costco style lunch there, but the food is so good you WILL end up buying some kind of sausage or cheese or grapes.

Rock N' Robs is awesome if you like restaraunt style burgers. I think what really shines there are the milkshakes, though. They let you get fruit in them as well as like vanilla or strawberry or chocolate base icecream. ie Vanilla Pineapple or my favorite, Chocolate Banana. It's gotten a bit pricey in the last few years, but it's fun.

Nick's, the oldest goddamn restaraunt/bar thing in Pacifica has a great community feel. A lot of old people eat there because it's a very local place. The quality has fluctuated in the past few years- it's been really good and sometimes kind of blah food-wise. I'm not old enough to drink, so I couldn't tell you about the bar, but sometimes they have live music which is pretty win, I suppose. Oooold place started by a Greek guy in, I think, the 30's.

When the Quarry doesn't have a bad day and things don't smell slightly like sewage (nice job, tax dollars!) it's pretty awesome to walk around. There are some old ruins by the cliffs, I think they're from watch base type things during WWII or maybe for when it was used as a Quarry. Pacifica was mostly a coastal town and Half Moon Bayish pre-50's. Um, oh, there's like a bunker or a shed or something that's built into a hill along the hiking area. Lots of graffiti for someone who was an Anthrax fan (the band, don't freak out). Sadly, it's mostly filled with garbage, so I was too :/ to bother entering it.

Also, protip for dog owners. If your dog shits, PLEASE pick it up. I mean, it's a really great area for dogs, but I'm sick of having to avoid rolling in it and getting it on my bike tires.
