I'd heard the story of how brave the men and women were during that battle. Always thought about Davey Crockett and Jim Bowie and the rest of them dying for the state of Texas. Then was disappointed when I saw how small the Alamo is. Unbelieveable what they must have gone through those few days they held out. It's a fun place to see.....after all the movies you've seen about it. Just try to imagine being there back then.

It is better if you do not go in the summer, it is too hot. It is nice to see once, but if you are a history buff you will really enjoy, however I am not one.
