Rest & Relaxation
It's called Garbage Beach (a.k.a. No surf Beach (because of a lack of waves breaking close to the shore)) but it isn't dirty at all! The name comes from the high quantities of seaweed on the beach at low tide.

The beach is at the end of Sunset Cliffs boulvd.
If you follow the road to the left, a bit uphill there is a parking lot. From there, walk towards the ocean and you'll find a path. Follow it, the last part you'll actually have to scale down the last bit of cliff, but don't worry, there's a rope present.
Now you find yourself on a beach completely surrounded by high cliffs! It's really silent and relaxing. The beach doesn't reach all the way to the water, after a couple of yards it turns into rock. And that's one of the best things! At low tide you can find a lot of tide-pools in those rocks! The rocks are safe to walk on and you can spend hours on them checking out the tide-pools!

Being at garbage beach just leaves you breathless as you can't really figure out where to look, because there are just too many pretty things to see!

One of the most amazing things I have ever seen! I had so much fun walking around checking out the tide-pools! I've been struck silent with awe for this place! No matter where you look, it's an amazing view! The cliffs surounding the beach, the beach itself, the rocks in the water with the tide-pools, the calm ocean (waves breaking way out there), it's all just amazing!
