Aug 16, 2008 I have not really seen it, but it is a very important genetic stop on the ark-trail of species preservation for Planet Earth. I think there is a Marine World or something else like that here... Don't rent a car and drive into Mexico. Don't RENT A CAR in Mexico. The girl is renting it to you there, and her brothers will follow you to where you park it for the night. If they wait that long. You are only insured for something like half or two-thirds. Mexico and Napoleonic Law: you are guilty until proven innocent. Or in the slammer till Daddy pays for the Hummer (that they stole from you). Take a train. Take a cab. Take a plane... Nov 10, 2009 I'm not usually into zoos as they can seem quite cruel but this place is something else. The animals are so well cared for. And you'll see so many animals you never knew existed. The shows are great aswell just make sure you wear plenty of sunscreen and cover up as the sun is quite high and can get really hot. There are plenty of places to eat and drink. Its worthwhile buying a refill cup. Its costs bout $7 and refills only cost $1 as many times as you want. Great fun for all the family and well worth the money! Jan 25, 2010 My daughter travels for work and I go with her to watch after my grandson. I have taken him to zoos in most of the major cities and San Diego has the best! I would suggest walking through the elephant area first...it's awesome! Then walk down the hill to see the other sites. At the bottom you can get the transport bus back to the top and then head down another road. The Panda Bears are truly amazing and our favorite exhibit. Aug 7, 2008 If you love animals, and don't want to get board. Take the fam to the zoo in San Diego. From what I understand, it is the biggest in the us. Not only will you have some thing to do all day long, but the kids will be nice and tired early on in the evening, so the adults will have time to enjoy the night life. Heck, you and your family just might have someting to do the next day. That is just how big the zoo is. Related Links
