Great Fotospot! Baker Beach is definitely THE Place if you want to photograph the Golden Gate Bridge from a nice angle. Be careful, strong winds and high waves in September, but we had a full week without a single minute of fog around the bridge in the day hours due to that winds. Wonderfull light to during September. Baker Beach is a beautiful spot, also some nice restaurants around in little driving distance.

I absolutely love the city! The view from Coit Tower is amazing, great views of the city and of Alcatraz, then there is the Lombard street which is fun to drive the curviest street in the world. And then there is Baker Beach which has an amazing view of Golden Gate Bridge. And these are just a few places to check out in the city.

Baker Beach is the one and only "nude" beach in San Francisco that sought a clear view of the city skies and generates occupancy of tourists and locals alike. It overviews the beach as well as the world famous Golden Gate Bridge. You can get to Baker Beach via the public transit through MUNI, the local transportation bus company.
