Apr 5, 2009 Very busy here which makes sense since it is a famous landmark! Mainly came here for more views of the city, bridge and you can see Alcatraz and take pictures. I thought the Sea Lions were so funny because they make lot`s of noise and look so content basking in the sun. Once in awhile one will push another one off! It feels like a carnival when you`re walking through because of all the candy and there`s a merry-go-round. Sep 26, 2011 Go to Point Bonita where you will have a better view of The Golden Gate Bridge. If your going to Fisherman's wharf try the food in Boudin. For a great view of the city and the bay, go to Russian Hill at sunset. YOur an hour away from Napa Valley so I suggest this as a must go to place to see the valley's charm. Fall is a good time to go which is in time for the harvest. May 28, 2011 A tourist trap, but still one worth visiting. Plenty of tourist shops, but be prepared to negotiate for prices of some things or you will get ripped off. Lots of places to get food (don't leave without trying the Clam Chowder in a sourdough bowl!) and souvenirs and many bay tours are available.
