If you are interested in parrots, Telegraph Hill is home to a population of Wild Cherry-Headed Conures.  At intervals thoughout the day, they can be seen flying around the hill or resting in the trees.  If you are patient, and following the squawking, you can track them down and watch them playing in the trees or grabbing a quick nibble of seeds off a feeder.

Best viewing is on the east side of the mountain, particularly along the long walking trail up the side of the hill.

This is the coolest place in San Francisco! The view on the city is just amazing. Walk through awesome houses plenty of flowers and colourfull. There's no way to feel like in the middle of a city.

Lovely neighborhood and Coit Tower which you must see with the beautifull murals and great view over the city.

Start at Union square and walk to Fisherman's Wharf. That is the way to see the city

Totally agree... Coit Tower is indeed a must see in Frisco.
