Feb 19, 2009 State St. is the main street in Santa Barbara where all the shops, restaurants, bars and clubs are at. There are always a lot of people there, so it's pretty lively. The very end of the street hits the beach, which is pretty nice. If you have ever been to Main St. in Walnut Creek, CA, State St. is like an expanded version of it. There is Spanish-style architecture, a bunch of palm trees, and always very sunny. Nov 16, 2009 State Street is full of life. It has many bars, a micro brewery and a lot of little shops. I especially loved the "Old Spanish Days" Festivel in Summer. The whole city has a mexican flair, delicous food (try Brothy Brothers) and a beautiful beach! May 3, 2011 The most important street from santa Barbara, an amazing place to start the trip! Nice restaurants and cool bars! Related Links
