For those of you who want to find trendy culture, DC-style, I recommend hangin' out in Dupont Circle. It has a subway stop of the same name. It's home to excellent cafes, bookstores, Art House Cinemas ( I saw Pedro Almodovar's masterpiece, Talk to Her there), and a decidedly East Coast flavor, which says, "We might be stuffy government bureaucrats, but we know what's hip."

I used to live near here, but I cannot recommend a visit. In DC there are lots of interesting things to see -- but this isn't it.

Dupont Circle is a great place to relax on Sunday afternoon. There are a lot of people in the park as well as music.

There aren't many tourist attractions but the buildings and the surroundings are great to enjoy.

Good Restaurants, and close to the Metro stops, which means it's close to everything DC
