A special place and a fitting tribute to the author of the Declaration of Independence. The memorial includes inscriptions based on Jefferson's words on each of the four wall panels. I feel that standing in the great memorial and reading each panel gave me a glimpse into the mind one of the greatest Presidents of the United States. This memorial is a "must see" when visiting Washington, D.C. Good journeys!

After traveling over 25 US states I cannot name a better place to find absolute peace in one of the greatest cities in our world, Washington D.C.

I would even go further and say every United States citizen should at least visit our capital once in a lifetime and spend a few precious moments with his/her loved one(s) during the cherry blooming at sunset on the steps in front of one of the most greatest leaders in modern time, Thomas Jefferson.

Washington is a great place to visit if you're interested in culture, because there are lots of free museums on either side of the mall (the piece of grass between the wite house and the capitol)

Jefferson is WAAAY bigger than you think. People are always wading in the reflecting pool to take pictures, which is pretty annoying. When this isn't happening, it is definitely pretty epic.

This monument is located in a lovely area, right on the water. It is a lovely building, and you can learn a little bit while you're there. Worth going to!
