The mall offers the visitors free access to all smithsonian museums which are all located right there. From the mall one has also a beautiful view with the Capitol on one side and the Lincoln Memorial on the other side. It is a wonderful place to stroll with friends/family, bike, picnic and partying on the 4th of July (American Independence Day)

Very beautiful avenue, with monumental buildings in both sides, giving a very unique feel to it. With the Lincoln Memorial at one end and the Congress on the other edge, this area is full of attractions and one can spend a whole day strolling around and visiting the museums and other relevant American history areas.
