Dec 3, 2009 The tour I went on was on an Indian reservation and it quickly became clear that the residents don't follow the same distancing rules that regulated parks hold. Our guide, Seminole (I believe), knew oddly where the expecting crocodiles lived and those crocs remained with mouth open as our guide fed them. Trained zoo feelings aside, the everglades on a swamp boat is an essential experience. The guide spoke bits of over a dozen languages and enlightened the group with some funny bits of lore. Jan 22, 2009 I went to the Everglades to canoe for two weeks and absolutely loved it! It's very gorgeous and stunning. Great wildlife, eventhough it's starting to disappear. If you like the outdoors, it's a great place to go even in the winter. But probably not for those who don't like to rough it. Sep 6, 2009 I've really enjoyed experiencing the Everglades. Gators, snakes, and other wildlife abound. Negotiating the waters in this unique environment is something I am not apt to forget. Don't forget your insecticide! Good Journeys! Related Links
