Keywest is a cool little town, its full of colors and the house are old-fashioned but vintage! The view of beach is awesome, and the atmosphere is really realxing! you can got there by car from Miami for around 5 hours driving, or you can travel by cruise line! The Royal cruise line would stop by keywest for one day. Also you can visit Hemingway's place, where fulled of the "six toes" cat and they also offer the tour! Keywest is a lovely place, you have to be there!

Key West is the coolest, most laid back place in the U.S. - without leaving the mainland. It's like being on an island. I have two favorite resorts: Ocean Key Resort (quite expensive) and Simonton Court (which is a little more affordable) and just a couple blocks off of Duval Street - where all the bars, restaurant and shopping can be found. Sloppy Joe's is THE bar, Margaritaville is a great place to eat burgers and Fastbuck
Freddie's is a great place to shop.

Key West used to be fabulous... Human flotsam and jetsam would pitch up on its shores from all over. Nowadays, it's not so much fun, not so varied, nor as tolerant of difference and eccentricity.Part of the problem has been that you can drive there. I'm hoping that the price of gas might limit the amount of R.V.'s driving into town.  Maybe there'll be fewer rednecks who feel they have to shout "Fag!" when they see a same sex couple holding hands on DuVal Street.

Key West is wild. You have a variety of lifestyles converging on this little piece of land in the ocean. To get there you have to drive from Miami or fly into Key West. The airport in Key West is very, very small.
The Southernmost Point is a cool place to take a pic.
The sunsets have people coming from all over the island to watch and party as the sun goes down.
