This is the neatest place I've been to near a major city. The Southern Leaders from the Civil War excuse me The War of Northern Aggression are carved on the side of the Mountain. Laser light shows and concerts are presented when the weather is decent. There are hiking trails and a train ride through the park. A wonderful peaceful respite from the bustling city next door.

A great place to hike, bike, picnic, and more. When I was a child, my parents often brought me to Stone Mountain for the day. We always had fun. Now, I'm bringing my children. Good Journeys!
