Nice place for gathering, admiring outdoor art, concerts, air shows, and people watching. the Spanish artist, Jaume Plensa created an incredible interactive multi-media interactive water sculpture that is a centerpiece, an attraction and a marvel. ANd that is only one masterpiece. on a good day, you can be outdoors, have views of the lake and the best of the city's architecture, with access to great food, eye candy and events, impromptu as well as scheduled. It is a crossroads of art and culture.

I find it a great place to go every time I come to Chicago. It's great to either see a concert, come on a night stroll, admire the architectural phenomenal sculpture by Anish Kapoor in bright day light, or stop in somewhere to eat near by. No matter what it is always a great hit in the city.

Great location near the lakefront with an interesting array of park features although the layout is a bit choppy and misses the mark when it comes to the key feature of a well planned space: consistent, self-permeating ambience.
