Keep in mind this review is written by a Milwaukee native, so take it as you will. When I think of Chicago, the first thing I think of is the time the Illinois toll computer system "accidentally" sent toll citations to all Wisconsin drivers who had used the freeways. That was fun. As if paying tolls every time we cross the Il. boarder isn't enough fun. Then there's all the drunk, Cubs fans that make a$$es of themselves at Miller Park, even when the Cubs aren't playing. Not to mention their idea of renovating the once-respectable soldier field was to turn it into a ridiculous steel monstrosity, leaving the old Greek columns in place. As if people wouldn't notice that the stadium now looks like a spaceship crashed into the Parthenon I have other gripes, but if you're from Chicago, you have probably stopped reading by now. There are a couple gems, however. The Shed Aquarium is a great place to visit, also the Field Museum, Navy Pier. The stars in my review are actually for the City of Chicago, not the Aquarium. As I said before, the Aquarium is actually great!

Gorgeous Beluga whales swim upside down in an enormous tank by Lake Michigan. There is also a rescued turtle and the most amazing display of bottle-nosed dolphins you've ever seen. In addition to all this, the starfish there dazzle like a thousand jewels on the coral reefs.

It's a great place to visit with the family or even alone. One can see all sorts of fish and other creatures living in water. But don't miss out the dolphin-show! Even if you have to wait to catch the next show, wait. It's worth is, because it's just something superb!!

I loved the Aquarium in Chicago, first off it's HUGE and has everything you could imagine from lake/river fish to Deep sea squid, jellyfish, dolphins, and baluga whales! It's a great family attraction, and the location also has a great view!
