If you love baseball, this museum is for you. You are greeted at the front door by a 130 foot-tall Louisville Slugger Babe Ruth-replica bat. Watch the movie, take some swings with a famous slugger's bat and of course, take the tour to see how they take ordinary trees and make them into wooden bats!

This is a really cool site to see, and it's close to Louisville's river front area where you could go for a nice walk.

If you're a baseball fan, this is a must while visiting Louisville. If you're not, I think it would still be an interesting tour stop. The museum shows how the bats are made and really dives into the history of the game. At the end of the tour each person received a miniature Louisville Slugger bat.

A great place for baseball fans, but even as someone with no knowledge of or interest in the sport I had a good time there. From the huge baseball bat at the door to the factory floor, there is enough to keep one entertained for an afternoon tour.

It is pretty neat to see how the bats are made, but the tour is really short. The tours are very small groups usually, and you get very close to the equipment.

If you love baseball, then this is one place you need to go. The tour has more to see than I thought. Alot of history here.
