It's been a long time since I visited, but it was a lovely little state park last time I was there. I've driven past and it looks like there are now places with roofs and running water, but that wasn't there when I was. The camping was great. The little lake was delightful. They have a bluegrass festival every year that is a tremendous amount of fun if you like bluegrass music. It's in the mountains, so there is hiking and wildlife and fishing and woodsy sorts of things to do. It's reasonably close to Cumberland, MD, unfortunately, that really isn't a reason to recommend it beyond access to a grocery store and McD's if you gotta.
