Oct 25, 2008 Was there as a child (a 9-year-old one, precisely) and considered it one of my best experiences during my 2½ month's stay in Boston. My 7-year-old brother and 3-year-old sister loved the place as well - there seemed to be something for everyone, no matter what the age. There were many semi-scientifical, yet (at least in the opinion of the 9-year-old me) highly interesting and fun exhibitions in which the kids could learn something new through their own experiments, but also exhibitions that were there "just for fun". We spent the whole day there, and I still thought it was way too early to leave when we finally had to take off as they were closing the museum. So if you're in Boston with children, this place sure is worth the money and the time - I guess problems might occur only when trying to get the kids out of there!
