If you like to shop, and make a shit ton of money, this is the place to do it. Forget New York and 5th Avenue crowds.... plus, most shops on Newbury will provide you with complimentary champagne, and if your significant other isn't a shopper, there are plenty of good couches available in almost every shop! (Plus beer!)

If your in Boston, the Boston Common is a very nice garden to walk around and let kids run around. The flowers are real pretty in the Spring time and the leaves are gorgeous during the fall. All shades of reds, yellows, and in between. The Commons is also walking distance to many shops and restaurants.

Boston Common was very clean and well kept. At night there are sometimes performances that take place in the commons. I got to see the Shakespear play Hamlet unfold on a two story stage set up on the north side of the commons and hundreds of people came out to see it.

Lots of history to check out. Largest area of Irish Pubs in the finacial area of Boston than any US city. Check out JJ Foleys http://jjfoleyscafe.com in Southie, Classic Irish Pub that serves till 4:00am. Also go to the Bull & Finch the original Cheers Bar.
