The bridge itself is nothing more than a garden on a bridge, but Shelburne Falls is a cute, artsy town. It is pretty with a nice river backdrop, but nothing overly special. I wouldn't make the trip for the Bridge of Flowers, alone, but if you have a few hours in, take in the Bridge, glacial potholes, shops and restaurants at Shelburne Falls.

The Bridge of Flowers and the little shops around it are fantastic, even in early fall, which is when we usually go.
