Easily accessible lake in the heart of Uptown Minneapolis. Decent facilities and okay beach. The thing about Lake Calhoun is simply location, location, location.

Great lake in the inner city. Great view of down town over the lake. Plenty of places to rent boats to go on the lake. Several beaches to cool off at.

It's a fine lake for one that's close to the city...there's a lot to do in summer + winter.

Not to be missed for biking, walking, blading and sailboating right in the city proper.
