One of the most famous attractions in Las Vegas, the Fountains of Bellagio hold performances every 30 minutes during the day and every 15 minutes in the evening.  The performances use 1,200 fountain nozzles and 4,500 lights to create a synchronized light and music show.  Fountain jets can blast up as high as 140 metres (460 feet) in the air. The fountains are thought to have cost $75 million to build.

I'm not into gambling, prostitutes, cheap meat, or strip shows, so Las Vegas has limited appeal for me. But the Bellagio Fountains were beautiful. The fountains are choreographed to go with music that is pumped over outdoor speakers, and it creates a truly joyous environment. I've never seen a fountain show like it anywhere else, and I thought it was just lovely. I stood there for about 20 minutes watching, and I would have stood longer if I could have. It was hands-down my favorite spot in Vegas.

The Bellagio is a great place, especially for a honeymoon! It's right in the middle of the strip, walking distance from most of the large Casinos. We got a great room overlooking the fountain and the strip. You hardly want to leave the room, but it's a wasted trip if you dont. It's worth every bit of the costs. There's so much to do in Vegas. Plan events ahead of time!!

it's a great free show. Vegas is always so busy it nice to just stop and watch. Catching the show from the the restaurant inside the Bellagio is the way to go, but the side walk also delivers the same grandeur. Please make sure to watch your belongings when standing in big crowds...thats where pick pockets and thieves thrive.

The fountain is a magical place. Have diner at one of Bellagio's fine restaurants and enjoy the water ballet. Afterward, stroll along the lake and view the fountain with the hotel in the background for that special 'Ocean's Eleven' feeling. A tranquill experience in the topsey turvey world that Las Vegas is.
