Red Rock is a beautiful place to go, especially a couple days after it rains. There are small creeks & a few waterfall trails if you know where to go. The only downside of RedRock now a days is the constant housing developments they continue to build...It's almost all the way to the mountains, which sucks! Other than that it's defiantly a cool spot to visit while in Vegas. Don't forget to visit Cactus Joes Sanctuary of plants & succulents right off Blue diamond Rd. It's a rare gem in the desert for sure.

Red Rock Canyon is a BEAUTIFUL sight to see! If you can't make the drive to the Grand Canyon on your visit to Vegas, DEFINITELY go to Red Rock. The color of the rocks just pops right out at you! Even on overcast/kind of rainy days, Red Rock is a sight to behold. I've seen it both ways and during the rainy kind of day we visited, these clouds would form right at the tops of some of the hills and the mist just swirled around the colorful rocks. Just absolutely gorgeous...

If you go to Vegas and want to see what the people that live there do, go to Red Rock. It's beautiful scenery makes hiking there amazing. If you're a runner, it's also a great place for an amazing workout!
