This attraction is a large museum in historic Santa Fe devoted to the work of Georgia O'Keeffe. It periodically runs special exhibits and hosts public events, mostly centered around the American Modernism movement, the artist, or the Northern New Mexico that she loved.

The collection includes about 3,000 items, which are rotated three times each year. Consider calling ahead to make sure the museum is open.

I knew very little of Georgia O'Keeffe or her work when I went, so I found this museum very informative and pretty reasonably priced. It was good to learn that she painted more than flowers reminiscent of lady bits, and even better to learn that this other stuff is marvelous. If you are lucky enough to go when her travel-inspired works are up, check out the room from her Peru trip(s?). There is a tiny green painting that is gorgeous and perfect.

One of the best museums in town. Located a couple of blocks from the main Plaza. Shows most of her most important paints; shows some of bio; and why she chose New Mexico as inspiration for her art.
