If you're a history buff, the Farmer's Museum is a fun place to go. Once you enter the park, you time-warp back to the Colonial era. There's Ye Olde Blacksmith Shoppe, Ye Olde Pharmacy, an old scoolhouse, etc. - all in faithful reproduction, including the staff and their garb. It's fun to visit on a nice fall day.
If you're not into this sorta thing, there's always the Baseball Museum, or Howe Caverns.
