Jun 27, 2010 I got a chance to visit New York just a year after the Twin Towers came crashing down. Ground zero was still closed off and some metal and concret parts still remained. The site was still dusty and tool were scattered here and there. Just a walk away however, is the best thing ever. It's called the Spere. A memoral of what used to be. The Park is breath taking. In the early morning when noise is low the Park is a site for poor eyes. Mar 18, 2010 I thought it was landscaped pretty. There were people on their lunch breaks and a huge group of day care kids playing on playground equipment. The epitome of a beautiful city park. In taking the water taxi over from Liberty State Park in Jersey City, we would arrive on the other side at Battery Park. Nice lil entrance into the big city.
