If you are in New York and you have a little bit of time over and you are a nostalgic of the movie The Warriors then a little visit to the beach there is a must. The old attraction park there is in one word: OLD. It's probably still the same as in the movie. The beach is ok, not too many people. I liked the travel from the center of New York to Coney Island by metro. Every year there is also the world record of eating as many hotdogs possible in a short time. I guess that's a normal american event, I just think it's gross, but everybody can have a different opinion of course. But there is so much more to see in New York then Coney Island. Like I said before, if you liked the movie The Warriors then it's worth the trip over there, otherwise just stay away from there...

This is a grrat place to go and see. Of the beaten track in Brooklyn you wont find crowds of tourists here. Quirkey shops and funky bars line a wide sandy beach. There is a fun fair you will recognise from many movies and many other activities. Its about 40 mins from central Manhattan on the Subway.

It fulfills the stereotypical dirty year-round carnival but that is what makes it so wonderful! The rides may be a little sketchy, but its super fun for any age.

I love to ride the Cyclone. Get here fast, 2008 is the last summer for the world's purest form of amusement park entertainment.
