Oct 21, 2008 You will come back from Manhattan with neck-ache. You won't stop to watch up in the sky to see all the skyscrapers around here. Going around Manhattan is a unique experience... From the rich 5th avenue to the alternative Soho and Green Village. Get lost in Central Park or have a boat trip to Ellis Island and Liberty Statue. Also a cruise in the Hudson River is a really exciting experience. The most beautiful buildings in Manhattan are Flat Iron Building a very particular building, the famous Empire State Building and the Chrysler. Ground Zero will make you think about the manhood and Chinatown will bring you in another world... Avoid Little Italy, because there are no Italians there, if you want to meet real Italian people, move to Bronx, but this is another story... Jan 22, 2010 NewYork city never sleeps and the place which best explains is the also the heart of NYC, Manhattan. The famous sky;line of NYC also got its name from Manhattan, why, because all the tall skyscrappers that arorn the NYC skyline are situated within Manhattan. Ther's no place in this small island which wont astound you and yet you wont be able to cover evrything or visit every area of Manhattan in a long weekend trip. But parking is a nightmare here people, so better rely on the subway (which is very convenient and not expensive) or the cab (which is reliable but a bit expensive). You have plethpors of eating out choices and plenty of places to shop. Even if you are not in a mood to eat or shop, you can always sit and check out the neon-lit glamourous "Times Square". Sep 13, 2009 Everyone describes NYC with a different word, mine is unique. I've had the chance to be in the city twice and will definitely go back. There are so many places in Manhattan that I haven't discovered yet! Even though your tastes may be different from mine, you should really try to go to NYC at least once in your life because it is perfect for everyone and there are so many different things to do that you'll never get bored: the proof is in the pudding! May 9, 2009 Such a busy place, people doing so many things all the time. The Empire State Building is amazing to see up close, and trying to look up to the spire from the ground is impossible unless you walk like 2 blocks :) Battery Park always has street performers by the ferries and the Subway, when i was on it, had a group of rappers come on and perform some stuff for tips. Pretty random but looks really cool when you think back on it. Oct 18, 2008 Manhattan is a major commercial, financial, and cultural center of the United States and the world.[4][5][6] Most major radio, television, and telecommunications companies in the United States are based here, as well as many news, magazine, book, and other media publishers. Manhattan has many famous landmarks, tourist attractions, museums, and universities.
