Feb 25, 2010 One of NYC's most iconic buildings - a marble palace dedicated to public knowledge. Wander Bryant Park in the back or explore the top floor reading rooms with their intricate wood carvings and painted ceilings. A Gutenberg Bible is also housed in this world famous research library. Sep 12, 2011 Many diverse historical and artistic documents and resources; a great place to visit and check out some literature, or simply to gaze at the exterior and perhaps stick your head inside. Bryant Park is right behind the library, which is a lovely place to visit any time of year. Sep 13, 2011 VIbrant city!! be careful of walking around dark places alone. Full of life. Love Greenwhich village for the restaurants! Subway is a bit complicated and needs getting used too. Go to Staue of LIberty, Empire State BUilding and check out the museums!! Oct 20, 2008 This is a great historical building and deserves at least a few minutes to appreciate it's beauty (and wish that your local library was so full of history and inspiration!)
