Its like a boardwalk with bars, restaurants, stalls and entertainment.  You can see the Statue of Liberty from it and it's just a great place to be on a summer night.

I love the Seaport all year round, but Christmas is so fun and colorful there. And then in summer, just stopping in at one of the waterfront restaurants for a light meal or snack and a glass of wine, while enjoying the amazing views, it's just fantastic. A must see, if you're in NYC for more than a few days.

Great piece of NY away from all the hustle and bustle and tourists. Great views of the bridges and of Brooklyn.
