Located in the Bronx, the Yankee Stadium is the official home ballpark for the New York Yankees.  The park was built in 2006, replacing the 1923 Yankee Stadium.  The stadium was built to incorporate many of the design elements of the old stadium in homage to the Yankees' history.

This was a great park, with a great history. Not quite as amazing as visiting Fenway Park, but pretty close. The crowd is always in to it, which makes for a fun time. Prices were surprisingly not over the top. The flaws were that it was nearly impossible to get to Monument Park, because they cut off the line shortly before gates open and there was next to no space in the concourse areas. Hopefully new Yankee Stadium will be a little more spacious.

It was a lively place, the people around me were friendly and taught a non-baseball watcher the rules and tricks of the game. I learned to eat peanuts... USA style and I did the classic hotdog and beer. The staduium itself was clean and reletivly easy to get around. While scalping is illegal, I saw many scalpers selling their tickets so if you are ever in NY, just trun up on game day and try to see a game.

Great stadiun. Cheap seats are in the bleachers or the top tier but the bleachers are field level and you would be surprised how much you can see from the back side of the diamond. Plus, footlong hot dogs make a day in the bronx worthwhile.

Best baseball palace on Earth. Home to some of the greatest players of all time. Extremely sad they're tearing it down!

Yankee Stadium is a must see. There is a lot of baseball history and a Hard Rock Cafe in the stadium.
