The Maid of the Mist is a boat ride at Niagara Falls. The ride starts of by the Rainbow Bridge, then goes past the American and Bridal Vail Falls before hitting the heavy sprays of mist inside the curve of the Horseshoe Falls. There are multiple boats in the fleet, each named Maid of the Mist, but sequentially numbered. Passengers receive a blue Maid of the Mist poncho too.

Really fun, really wet experience! This is really the only way to get up close and personal with the falls!

A lovely ride on the Maid of the Mist ensures you enjoy the Niagara Falls at their best viewing spot from just where the water comes down on you!!! Wear your special blue rain gear to keep yourself dry or else enjoy the water spray on you and get wet!!! A must do experience when you visit the Niagara Falls.

Do the Maid of the mist boat tour to get as close as possible to the falls, of course you will get an rain coat before the tour starts for not getting wet. You ll see both the Canadian and the US side falls from a better spot than just from the edge on top of the falls.

Seriously, only the Maid of the Mist is worth for this trip. Thrilling sensation when the ship approaches the falls. Cool rain outfit though (blue one with the tag on it..lol). 100% sure you will have a bunch of pictures taken with the rainbow is your background!

The Maid of the mist is good but the Cave of the Winds is awesome. Not an actual cave but you're right at the base of the falls. Get to the hurricane deck. A very appropriate name. there's a no smoking sign that just cracked me up. I was soaked to the bone.
