West Point is home to the United States Military Academy (Army). It was a key fortification during the revolutionary war. General Benedict Arnold was exposed as a traitor when he tried to give the plans to the British. Bring comfortable shoes as there is a lot of walking to be done.

no other place other than the Thayer Hotel unless you want to stay in a motel in the outskirts of town
