Awesome place. The fort itself is very cool with a gift shop and daily educational activities. Be careful in the fort, as one sign says "it was built for war, not safety"! Children should be watched closely as there are several dropoffs and trap door holes without railing. History buffs will love it! Also, the beach access here is great and there is plenty of free parking.
