The Battleship U.S.S. North Carolina is worth seeing if you are ever in Wilmington, NC. It is moored right there in the harbor in downtown and is hard to miss. The 16 inch gun turrets are all open and you can go inside and see the ships magazines. You can tour pretty much the entire ship (Galley, Sick Bay, Quarters, Mess, Ship's Store, Engine Room, Deck Bridge) which has been restored to meticulous detail. Great fun for the entire family, I really enjoyed it !!!
