This amusement park is absolutely enormous with over 50 rides and 19 massive roller-coasters.  The par is located right on the water's edge of Lake Erie, and also features a full-blown water park with water slides, swimming pools, play fountains and more.

If you love rollercoasters Cedar Point is a blast!  Right on the lake, which is an added bonus.

The greatest amusement park in the world sits on an island in Erie Lake. Cedar Point has one awards year after year for having the best coasters and rides. Having broken many records throughout the years, Cedar Point is home to some of the tallest and fastest coasters in the world, making it a coaster lovers dream vacation.

The themed areas and food are also very good, though sometimes it is hard to pay attention as you watch Top Thrill Dragster blow 420 feet straight into the air. As with most parks, you cannot go hungry. Frontier Land is a great place to get a late lunch or early dinner, and do a little shopping after a long day of riding coasters.

But don't think that coasters are the only rides here. There are many thrill rides, and plenty of rides for the kids as well. However, as mentioned before, unless you live local, this park is really for the enthusiast, not so much for the kids.

Make sure you get a two day pass, because you will need it, and make sure you get there early enough to get a good spot in the mass crowd and run through the park at opening to your favorite coaster!

If you're a person who is into amusement parks, this is the place for you! It's been several years since I've been (at the time when Millennium Force made its debut). There is no shortage of things to do including the amazing water park. I don't recall lines being that much of a problem either. Also, there is pretty much nothing to distract you outside of Cedar Point, so you can focus all of your attention to screaming your head off.

I will never forget riding the Magnum at night. Our friends told us they would pay for the whole trip if we'd ride the Magnum as a family....little did we know...as the huge line inched to the top where the ride begins, there were even higher places to go! From the top (with the rackety sounds of getting up there) it was bone chilling to look down and see that people reduced to the size scale of ants! WOW what a ride!

The lines are generally ridiculous, but that's because the rides are fantastic. The Maverick, Millennium Force, and Raptor are the best, in my opinion. I've heard that the Top Thrill Dragster is great, but why wait in line for two hours for a ride that's literally under twenty seconds? Bring food (they let you bring in a cooler) and save money.
