The water in the lake is the most amazing color of blue.  And it is really cool to see Wizard island where it is forming in the center.  If you camp here be cautious of bears. I heard a story from a ranger a few years back about a guy who took a nap in a hammock with cherry chapstick on and woke up to a bear licking his lips!!

IMHO The lodge at Crater Lake is one of the most romantic hotels/lodges we've been to.

Something about watching the sun rise over the rim. Or watching it set while drinking a glass of wine. The rims glowing.

The view of the Crater Lake is breathtaking. It was raining when we went, and it was still beautiful.
