Nov 5, 2011 Great hikes, beautiful scenery, awesome in any weather. Pack a lunch, the gorge is lacking in food venues. Drive down Highway 30, (get off 84 at bridal veil) I would suggest taking a map of all the trails because there are many and you could easily get lost for hours. Oct 22, 2011 I've only done the hiking aspect, but there are great trails with lots of different ability levels. The scenery is absolutely stunning anywhere you hike, and the waterfalls make getting to the top of some of them a very satisfying finish to a hard hike. Oct 29, 2009 Stunning drive that makes for a perfect day escape from Portland. Don't just stop at the most popular Multnomah Falls, it's usually too crowded to enjoy it and there are so many other beautiful sights to see. Aug 1, 2008 If you hike to the top of Multnomah Falls, view the top and then on your way back make sure to go explore the other direction before you go down. It's just gorgeous...(no pun intended)!
