Considered one of the most prominent symbols of the American Revolutionary War, the Liberty Bell is a symbol of independence and justice.  The bell is 12 feet (3.7 metres) in circumference and weighs 2,055 lbs (900kg).   The bell is currently no longer in use as there is a large crack running up the side of the bell.

Well even, as a non - US person, I was pretty impressed by the Liberty Bell Center. It is a great place to learn about US history. The multimedia shows give you a clear picture of the American forefathers and how things were back then. I even met Benjamin Franklin ;-) A place to wander around - in summer when it it too hot, it winter to five your shelter. Great for kids too, you are allowed to touch things. :-)

not as impressive as it would seem, but still worth the time. While your there, go see independence hall, I found that the most interesting of all the sights. To get tickets, go across the street to the Constitution center.

One of the more prominent historical places in the states. However, as we all know, don't go to the states just for visisting historical sites. They can't compare to most other countries' historical sites.

Despite the long lines to get in if you go at the wrong time, It's a very large piece of American history and worth the wait. Just appreciate how many people have touched it and the creators of it.
