It is so incredible and the collection so vast and varied that as an eleven-year-old I made my uncle take me and waited 45 minutes in the bitter cold of a January morning, sitting on the steps made famous in the movie Rocky. Back then, I wanted to see their arsenal--ancient armors from around the world. Today, I wouldn't even know where to start.

Relatively good collection of Impressionists, a few rooms/segments from temples/fortresses around the world, other than that an average museum. Host some good "traveling" exhibitions, though.

HUGE! made even more famous when Stallone jogged to the top of the steps in his Rocky movies

Absolutely some of the nicest 14th century and up art I've seen in the United States.

A great place with lots of exhibits and variety. Wear your walking shoes - its huge!
