Kennywood is very well maintained , there are several old wooden roller coasters and thrill rides. There is somthing for everyone .... if you do not like to ride the rides you can still enjoy the flowers , landscaping , shops and shows. I also reccomend Idlewild Park in Ligoneer PA it is owned and operated by the same people. Idlewild has less thirll rides .. it is geared more towards children. The Story Book Forest , Mr. Rodgers Neighborhood and H2o Zone are awesome !

A wonderful amusement park experiance for a not to bad price. You do have to be careful as the time you pick to go thou as most of the schools in the area have what they call Kennywood Pick nick Day and the entire school will go on that day and can sometimes lead to over crowding and long lines.

A wonderful old amusement park which has a century old merry-go-round. A simply fun place to spend the day within a 20 minute drive from downtown. It is open from May to September with new rides along side the old.

This is a great amusement for the whole family. There are plenty of rides for people who don't like to ride rollercoasters and people who do. My husband and I took our three kids and they had a blast.

I've gone every year since I was in a stroller. Always a good time, relatively small but has a lot of charm and enough rides /attractions for a day. And it's enough fun that I look forward to going every year.
