This Southeastern national park is one of the most pristine and beautiful parks in the United States. It is accessible year round and offers some of the best backpacking, hiking, and camping to be found in this area of the U.S. Wildlife abounds, and it is actually increasing, so your chances of a wildlife viewing are high. Personally, I cherish every opportunity I get to visit the Smoky National Park. Don't forget the following: Compass (A GPS is a good addition) Map Insecticide Bear bag/cannister First Aid Kit Water (A filter is a plus) Light Fire Source Camera Good Journeys!

I love the outdoors and this was place for me. Great view of the mountains from the top of Clingman's Dome! Not a fun climb to the top though, especially with a stroller..Even some old historical sites to check out if your interested in history.

One of my most peaceful times on vacation. I use to go here as a kid in the summer. Now, my wife and daughter get to enjoy the beauty of the mountains. We even went horseback riding there.

It's beautiful.. visit Cades Cove but be sure to do it during the week.. especially during the fall.. it gets very crowded and bumper to bumper traffic is no fun..

A beautiful mid-western National Park. Seen by many every year so tends to be crowded. Try to plan trips during off season.
