This is the most quiet, peaceful place in Knoxville, in my opinion. I love to go to Cherokee Park when I am needing to regroup after a busy week, when I am writing poetry, hanging out with friends for a quick catch up chat, and many others go there to walk their canine friends. There are walking trails next to the Tennessee River, a wrought iron dog run area, and lots of wide open field-like areas to hang out and picnic, play frisbee, or fly a kite. Great place to see. Check it out!!
