The Parthenon replica was originally built for Tennessee's 1897 Centennial Exposition, and now houses the city of Nashville's art museum. I had been to the Parthenon in Athens a few months before I went to Nashville, and it really felt like I stepped back in time and got to see the Parthenon as it must have looked originally. Its an incredible replica and definitely worth seeing if you're in Nashville!
